About our Canvas 1 Piece collection

The single canvas is the format most of our catalogue lives in - every theme in the shop, most of it in the classic 3:2 landscape proportion, plus square and portrait formats for narrower walls. Standard sizes run from 35 × 25 cm, small enough for a shelf or a gallery wall, to 150 × 100 cm for the wall above a sofa or a bed; squares come in 45, 100 and 150 cm. Custom sizes are available on request and cut to the millimetre.

One rule covers most walls: the canvas should be about two-thirds the width of the furniture beneath it, with its centre 145-150 cm from the floor. That makes 100 × 65 cm the natural size above a two-seater sofa or a double bed, and 150 × 100 cm above a three-seater or a king-size bed. A square 45 cm canvas fills the slot beside a door or above a bedside table; portrait formats suit hallways and the strip of wall between two windows. For a gallery wall, mix three to five small canvases from one theme and keep 5-8 cm between them.

Every canvas is printed to order with HP Latex inks - GREENGUARD Gold certified, water-based and fade-resistant, so colours stay true for years indoors - then hand-stretched in Sofia, Bulgaria on kiln-dried spruce and fir bars. Choose slight-gloss 270 gsm polyester for maximum colour, a 300 gsm polyester-cotton blend, or 370 gsm cotton with a matte, museum-grade finish.
